An Introduction to Carlisle, Pennsylvania
The Carlisle Area is a fast-paced community with a small-town feel. Located in South Central PA, at the intersection of Interstate 81 and the PA Turnpike, Carlisle is well-suited to the business traveler, as well as the casual tourist.
Whether you're just passing through -- or you're moving to the Carlisle Area -- we're here to help you make the most of your stay! Please check out our membership listing for information about businesses that are good-standing Chamber members. Or call us at (717) 243-4515 with questions that we'll do our best to answer.
Coming to a Carlisle Events Car Show? An historic retreat? A concert or performance? Maybe just to fly-fish in one of our world-renowned trout streams? Carlisle offers all of that (and more)! We're also manageable drives or train rides from most major East Coast cities, like New York, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and Baltimore! (Not to mention an hour or less away from Hershey, Gettysburg, Lancaster, Harrisburg and York.)
If you want to travel to our area, please support our members -- see our Membership Directory and also the pull-down options beneath the menu tab entitled "Living Here" -- you will find many resources on what to see and do, where to eat and even where to stay.
